Vitrified!

People say that these images were carved.  My numerous visits to this site were revealing. I don't doubt that some of these were carved into or altered.  In my opinion, most of these stone renditions were once alive and then turned to stone.  The process was most likely vitrification.  The generic term is Mudfossil.  There are many avenues a living entity could be turned to stone. The following are a few examples: petrification, vitrification, or ancient weaponry, which I've coined the Medusa Effect. Here are a few Pictures from this site.  There will be more to follow.  Enjoy!
